Twice the Goodness, Twice the Fun

On set today in Sparta, NJ. Three camera setup for two person interview. I acted as cameraman, director, and interviewer. Ably backed up by ace assistants Chris and Dan, monitoring sound and cameras.

    Hey Jon,

    That’s getting pretty serious. I trust you had an assistant to help you get set up. Presume the DSLR (1DC?) is the wide shot and the 2 C300s interviewer and interviewee?

    • Yes, getting pretty serious. I had two assistants. It took just over an hour to set up. The dslr was one of my 1DX’s.

      The interviewer (me) was off camera and won’t be heard in the final piece. The photo is from my viewpoint. So, dslr for wider two-shot. Then C300s for tighter shots of each interviewee.

      I had the monitors rigged so that I could see the feed from each camera.
