March for Science and more M5

Another season, another reason for a march. Seems to be the times we live in.

March for Science – Princeton, NJ from Jon Roemer.

A march for science in a university town, albeit the town that Einstein called home for twenty years, brings a little something else to the mix. I don’t know the who’s who of who was there, only that the banner bearers leading the march were talking about being on book tours at one point.

The bust of Einstein at the end of the route was a touchstone for many of the 2,000 marchers. It was great to see such a diverse crowd come out in support of facts and common sense. Many ages, ethnicities, and species were represented. I missed the polar bear but any time you have a T-rex or two in the crowd, that’s cool.

This was filmed with a Canon EOS M5, handheld with the IS in-body in “enhanced mode” and with the 15-45mm EF-M lens’ IS on. It was edited in FCP X.
