The long awaited Canon C300 firmware update (allowing for user selection of the magnified focus area among other features) is now out. I have not had a chance to test it yet but you can get it here. I also wanted to confirm that Mac OS 10.9 Mavericks works fine in terms of tethering the Canon 1D
